GE Washing Machine Repair in Toronto — Not draining

• On GFW UltraFresh front-loads the code that fronts most not-draining calls is E31 - a drain timeout, meaning the machine could not empty within its window. GE's own cause order is filter first, then hose, then pump, so we never condemn a pump on an E31 until the cleanable pump filter (the coin trap behind the lower pour-spout door) and the drain hose are ruled out. Roughly nine E31s out of ten clear at the filter: lint, coins, a stray baby sock or a bra wire sitting in the trap.
• If the GFW filter and hose are clear and E31 persists - or the pump motor is silent / growling when commanded in service mode - the part is the front-load drain pump & motor assembly WH23X10028 (OEM, sold also as PS1766031 / AP4324598; supersedes WH23X10026 and WH23X10037). We check hose depth, standpipe height and kinks before any part goes in - swapping a healthy WH23X10028 won't fix a plumbing geometry problem.
